Michael Jackson’s Will Surfaces

We’ve learned Michael Jackson’s lawyer has a copy of the singer’s will and he intends to file it with the court.

We’re told the Jackson family doesn’t have a copy of the will in attorney John Branca’s possession. It’s unclear how many wills Jackson made but Branca believes it’s the most current.

Branca has a long history with Jackson. In 1985, Branca brokered the deal for Jackson to purchase The Beatles’ publishing catalogue.

Branca and Jackson stopped working together in 2006 but the singer hired him back just three weeks ago.

 

Katherine Granted Temporary Guardianship

Katherine Jackson, Michael Jackson’s mother, has been granted temporary guardianship of Michael’s three kids.

A hearing is set for next Monday on the matter.

Michael Jackson Guardianship Papers Filed

A guardianship petition has been filed for Michael Jackson’s children by Katherine Jackson, the grandma.

She is asking the court to appoint her as the guardian for all three kids.

The petition states the kids have “no relationship with their biological mother.”

According to the petition, the kids are in the care of Katherine and they have “a long established relationship.”

The petition says the value of Michael Jackson’s assets are unknown at this time.

Debbie Rowe is named as mother of two children in the petition.

As for why Katherine thinks it would be “best” to appoint her guardian, “Minor children are currently residing with paternal grandmother. They have a long-established relationship with paternal grandmother and are comfortable in her care.”

The petition says it’s “not known at this time” whether the mother (Rowe) agrees that Katherine should be the legal guardian.

A hearing is now set for August 3 to hear the petition.

 

Reported Jackson Autopsy — A Fake

We’ve learned the story making the rounds detailing the terrible condition of Michael Jackson’s body is a fake.

A report in The Sun gave harrowing details of the body, but we’ve learned the “autopsy report” was fabricated and completely false.

UPDATE: The Los Angeles County coroner just released the following statement:

The report that is being published did not come from this office. I don’t know where the information came from, or who that information came from. It is not accurate. Some of it is totally false.”

Report: Jackson Bald, Bruised, Ribs Broken

Michael JacksonMichael Jackson’s body was in terrible shape and he had only pills in his stomach when he died, according to a report out of London.

Jackson’s hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds, The Sun is reporting. The paper — which claims to have details of the autopsy — is saying Jackson was bald at the time of his death and suffered several broken ribs, probably from the failed attempts to revive him.

There were four “injection sites” found above or near his heart, according to the paper, where rescue workers reportedly shot adrenaline into his heart in an attempt to restart it.

The Sun also says the autopsy found unexplained bruising on Jackson’s knees and on the fronts of both shins.

 

Lawyer: Doctor Found Jackson with Pulse

Michael JacksonDr. Conrad Murray’s lawyer is now saying that when Murray found Michael Jackson, he had a faint pulse.

Murray’s lawyer, Edward Chernoff, says Murray went into Jackson’s bedroom and saw that he wasn’t breathing. Chernoff told the AP, “He just happened to find him in his bed, and he wasn’t breathing. Mr. Jackson was still warm and had a pulse.”

Chernoff says Murray immediately began administering CPR.

Chernoff says Murray did not prescribe or give Jackson Demerol or OxyContin. Chernoff says any drugs Murray did prescribe were given in response to a specific complaint from Jackson.

Jackson Family — Offers Flooding In

Michael JacksonThe Jackson family is in high demand in the wake of Michael Jackson’s death.

A source close to the family tells us offers are coming in from promoters to put together tribute shows in honor of Michael Jackson.

Janet and the Jackson brothers had been in discussions to do a reunion concert with Michael, but MJ was accused of torpedoing it when he inked a deal for the London shows.

Today, in addition to meetings to discuss Michael’s affairs, the fam is deciding which tribute offers to consider.

 

Michael Jackson’s Doctor Treated His Kids, Too

Dr. Conrad Murray wasn’t just Michael Jackson’s personal physician — he treated Michael’s children as well.

Matt Alford, Murray’s attorney, tells TMZ Murray met Jackson back in 2006 and treated Jackson for “various illnesses.” Alford says Murray cared for Jackson’s kids from time to time as well.

As for suggestions Murray did not perform CPR correctly on Jackson, Alford said he doesn’t know why Murray did it on the bed instead of the floor.
